    Park Ridge Baptist is seeking a worship director to oversee the music ministry and lead the music team. The worship director will have a hands-on role in training and equipping the music team for Sunday ministry.

    This is a remunerated role for 8-10 hours a week.

    About the role

    Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Finance and Administration, the Financial Controller is directly responsible for the preparation of all monthly reporting, financial analysis and departmental operational analysis across all Carinity services.  This position will provide analytical advice and reporting for the Group whilst being the direct report for three Management Accountants, who are responsible for accounting functions across the organizations.

    What do I need for the role?

    • Relevant tertiary and professional Accounting Qualifications (E.g. CPA or CA).
    • Significant, demonstrated experience in a senior financial management role.
    • Experience in leading and developing a team of Finance professionals.
    • Experience in Enterprise Accounting programs such as TechOne and XL One Report Writing preferred but not essential.
    • Knowledge of Aged Care or Retirement Villages funding and the associated accounting principles preferred, but not essential.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modelling, and financial reporting.

    Hope Community Church
     is a growing church located just north of Brisbane. We are passionate about seeing people discipled and equipped to live in the power of the Holy Spirit.

    We currently see an average of 300 people join us for Sunday church in addition to other ministries that meet throughout the week including various prayer meetings, Connect Groups, Friday night Youth and Kid’s programs, and other outreach programs. We have 2 full-time pastors and two part-time pastors plus other ministry and administrative staff. We are close to starting a building project that will see our facility upgraded and better equipped to host our local community.

    The Worship Pastor serves under the Senior Pastor in providing leadership, pastoral care, and teaching to the wider church with a particular focus on Worship as areas of specific accountability.

    KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS

    Toowong Baptist Church of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia is seeking for a full-time Cantonese Congregation Ministry Pastor to join our pastoral team. Toowong Baptist Church is a vibrant, multicultural community with Cantonese, Mandarin and International-English speaking ministries seeking to connect people to God and each other through the Good News of Jesus Christ.     Overview

    Tenthill Baptist is a small country church with over 140 years of gospel ministry to the local community. We are a warm, lively, & theologically conservative bunch. We are seeking a Part Time Associate Pastor (3.5-4 days) to work alongside our Solo Pastor Aaron Needer. Aaron is married to Rebekah & has been with Tenthill since 2020. In January 2023 he became our Interim Pastor, & then Senior Pastor in July 2023. He is gifted in planning, strategy, preaching, & discipleship. We are looking for someone to compliment him, & to share the ministry load by focusing on ministry to young people. We see our young people as the future of the church, so our ministries to young people, & their families are a huge priority for us. We have a small but vibrant youth group, a solid Sunday children’s ministry (FOCUS), & we also have connections to local schools. Being regional our young adults come & go, but we have had groups for them as well. We definitely won’t overload the person, but we would love for them to play an active role in our music ministry. The nature of a country church means that we are seeking a bit of an allrounder. The advantage of this is that they will build up experience in a range of different ministries.

    North-East Baptist Church is located 20 minutes from the centre of Brisbane in Nundah. NEB is an active, local, relevant and contemporary witness to Jesus Christ in the north-eastern suburbs of Brisbane. NEB is seeking to appoint applicants who have the appropriate heart, gifting’s and passion to build on the strengths of our existing ministries.

    The Next Generation Pastor would be responsible for leadership, and ministry assistance, when necessary, to the various staff, volunteers and ministry teams from birth to Young Adult (25 years of age). This role will carry out the church’s mission and vision, being strategically minded, administratively skilled, and intentional with recruiting and development of teams within the scope of the next generation of Jesus followers. The NextGen Pastor will also possess a pastoral heart that can lead volunteers, parents, and children/teens in a relational ministry style as they serve as the chief communicator in these areas.
