Caloundra Christian College is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 independent Christian school on the Sunshine

The role
We have a new opportunity for an experienced and motivated Business Manager to join our College
Leadership Team, to commence as soon as possible.
The Business Manager is a key leader, and member of the College’s Executive Leadership Team.
Working closely with the Principal they help lead the school to achieve their mission and vision
within the Core Values of Caloundra Christian College, in an educational sense.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, working within a school environment;
  • Tertiary qualification/s in administration (eg. Business/Accountancy) or other relevant discipline;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with significant experience in both an operational and Christian leadership role;
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting;
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues affecting educational institutions or non-profit organizations;
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities;
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Proven Christian Leadership experience;
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues affecting educational institutions.
  • Must hold or be willing to apply for a ‘Paid’ Working with Children Bluecard;
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate in an Education setting (can be obtained at CalCC);
  • Awareness of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practice & procedure; and
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
