Malyon Celebrates 120 years in 2024
Malyon Theological College is set to celebrate its 120th anniversary in 2024. Founded in 1904 by Rev T.J Malyon who saw the need for theological education, Malyon has since then been dedicated to providing high-quality theological education that is rooted in Biblical truth and lived out in Christian service.
Over the years, Malyon has developed its programs to be a leader in preparing students for practical ministry through undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in theology and ministry. In recent decades, Malyon Theological College has been a proudly affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology, who’s academic standards are respected nationally and internationally for their rigor. Malyon’s faculty comprises highly qualified and experienced Lecturers and ministry practitioners committed to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to serve God and others in various contexts.
As Malyon celebrates its 120th year, it looks back with gratitude to the many students, staff, supporters, and partners who have contributed to its growth and success. It also looks forward with hope and anticipation to the next chapter of its mission, which is to prepare Christian leaders who will proclaim the Gospel, promote justice, and transform communities for the glory of God.
