MTQ Coaching Staff

As a sixteen year old on a Scripture Union camp Mark made the most important decision of his life, he decided to offer his whole life to Jesus and vowed to give everything in service of the Kingdom of God. Mark went from being a child convert to an avid disciple. This decision resulted in walking with the Lord each day, trying to reach his friends at school with the Good News, serving as a church as a youth leader throughout university and while working as a high school maths and science teacher.

Mark has 15 years of pastoral ministry experience serving at Enoggera Baptist, first as youth and young adults pastor, then as senior pastor.  More recently Mark has served as Senior Pastor of Cleveland Baptist Church. Currently, Mark is undertaking an intentional interim ministry at Whitehill Church of Christ in Ipswich.  Mark has completed a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry with an emphasis on church health and revitalization. He has served as the State Director for Youth Ministry for Queensland Baptists, and with Arrow Leadership Australia. Mark mentors several pastors and Christian leaders and is passionate about developing effective leaders.

Mark is married to Alexia, and they have three kids. Mark loves coffee, sport, home renovations, and riding his bikes. He hates bad coffee, losing at sport, and crashing his bike. Mark is deeply committed to the idea that everyday followers of Jesus can and will change the world!
